Designed by Farr Yacht Design and built in 2001. She is a pure offshore racing machine and competed in the 2001/2002 Volvo Ocean Race. Designed to the Volvo Ocean 60 rule she is a strong, reliable offshore yacht built to survive the Southern Ocean. She carries up to 2150 sq.ft of upwind sail area and 4490 sq.ft of downwind sail area, to enable this to be used to its full potential she carries up to 5,000 kg of water ballast in a combination of six tanks. Although primarily a race boat she has a large open deck making the perfect entertainment platform for corporate hospitality.
